Adaptive Rods
Sip and Puff Fishing Rod
The Sip & Puff rod is designed for high quads. The rod
has two functions: sip to cast and puff to retrieve. The
rod can be mounted on a sip & puff controlled
wheelchair allowing the user to direct the cast by
positioning the chair to point the rod. The sip & puff
control tube is attached to the chair control tube and by
switching to the rod control tube the rod can be
activated. This rod can also be controlled by a joy stick
if the user's chair is so controlled. This type of rod is
expensive to own by an individual but is available to
those who need one on the fishing outings.
C 4-5 Quad Rod  The C 4-5 Quad Rod is very similar to
the C 5-6 Quad Rod but with a spring to power the rod
forward when casting. This enables use without triceps.
The Hemi-rod   This one handed rod is a
standard fishing rod with a John's Reel. The
battery pack straps around the waist and
powers the 2 speed electric reel.
Adapted Manual Rods  These two rods feature
velcro covered handles and a palm grip to assist
holding onto the rod. The reel handles are
enlarged as well.
Spin Cast Rod  This regular rod has an
enlarged handle and an extended cast button.
